The weather in West Texas allows for year-round outdoor tennis and Hillcrest Golf and Country Club tennis courts are designed with that in mind. The Tennis Pro Shop is conveniently located near the tennis courts. Inside the Tennis Pro Shop, you will find all that you need to make your playing time a success.
Hillcrest welcomes all members to the tennis courts. There are 6 outdoor courts available for play. Head Pro, Kathy Vick, teaches year-round. Kathy has taught for decades and is a USPTA Certified Elite Professional. She is also nationally ranked in the USTA Senior Division, competing throughout the US and overseas as well. She has an assistant in the summer months when it is the busy season. Hillcrest also offers summer camps for kids and the schedule for those is available in early May.
Besides individual and group lessons, most of our members enjoy doubles play on the weekends. If you have an interest, just show up on Saturday or Sunday between 1:30 and 4:30 for a chance to jump in and play. If you would like to bring a guest, feel free to and there will be someone in the pro shop to collect guest fees.
